Dr Wong Poo Sing
Dr Wong Poo Sing brings decades of experience in cardiothoracic surgery, with expertise in coronary artery bypass, heart valve and aorta procedures, lung surgery, and chest wall operations. He earned his MBBS from the University of London and gained fellowship with several leading medical academies. At the National University of Singapore, he served as Associate Professor of Surgery while leading major departments at the National University Hospital, including his role as Director of Thoracic Surgery at The Heart Institute. Between 1995 and 2001, he helped establish cardiothoracic surgery programs in Penang and Johor Bahru. Since 2007, he has focused on private practice, delivering specialised care across Singapore’s top private hospitals, including Johns Hopkins Singapore International Medical Centre.
