Dr Lim Chong Hee
Dr Lim Chong Hee brings over 25 years of clinical experience in cardiothoracic surgery. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1990 and earned his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 1994. From 1999 to 2001, he trained at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the U.S., sharpening his expertise in cardiothoracic procedures. He previously served at the National Heart Centre Singapore and continues to contribute there as a Visiting Consultant. Alongside his surgical practice, Dr Lim actively supports medical education through lectures, workshops, and mentorship, with prior academic roles at both NUS and Duke-NUS. His clinical interests include minimally invasive lung surgery, heart valve repair and replacement, aortic aneurysm surgery, and advanced therapies for heart and lung failure such as ECMO and LVAD implantation.
