Prof Dr Wan Faisham Nu’man Wan Ismail serves as a Professor and Consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery, specialising in musculoskeletal oncology and limb salvage. He earned his medical and postgraduate degrees from the National University of Malaysia and developed advanced expertise in orthopaedic procedures through AO/ASIF and international fellowships. Prof Wan Faisham founded Malaysia’s first orthopaedic oncology fellowship programme and led national initiatives such as the cadaveric procurement team and amendments to the Human Tissue Act. He also held leadership roles in regional and international associations, including serving as President of the Malaysian Orthopaedic Association and Vice President of the ASEAN Orthopaedic Association.
