Dr Jonah Kua is the Medical Director and a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Astrid Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Singapore. He holds an MBBS, MRCS, MMed, and FAMS in Plastic Surgery. He trained under the Singapore Armed Forces scholarship and completed specialist plastic surgery training at Singapore Health Services. He later headed the Plastic Surgery Service at Changi General Hospital and served as National Programme Director in Plastic Surgery at Singapore General Hospital.

His expertise spans complex microsurgical reconstruction, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, breast surgery, and body contouring. He also completed overseas fellowship training in craniomaxillofacial surgery in the UK and reconstructive breast surgery in South Korea. Alongside his clinical work, Dr Kua remains active in research and received the National Medical Research Council’s New Investigator Grant.
