Dr Jane Lim
Dr Jane Lim is a Senior Consultant with the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery at the National University Hospital, Singapore, as well as at the Division of Surgical Oncology, National University Cancer Institute, and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1987 and earned a surgical fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1992.
During her career, she completed overseas attachments at Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit in Glasgow, Charing Cross Hospital in London, University of Tokyo Hospital, and Skåne University Hospital in Malmö. Her key interests include aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, skin tumour surgery and reconstruction, and trunk, limb, and lymphedema surgery, and she sits on the microsurgery reconstruction team covering head and neck surgery at NUH. Beyond her clinical work, Dr Lim teaches at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, serves on the Residency Advisory Committee for plastic surgery training in Singapore, and has authored over 60 peer-reviewed papers on reconstructive, microsurgery, and aesthetic topics.
