Dr Alex Leow Hwong Ruey serves as a Consultant Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur and holds an Associate Professorship at the University of Malaya. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and medical degree in Ireland, he completed a Master of Medicine at the University of Malaya. Dr Leow advanced his expertise through international fellowships and now specialises in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disorders. He performs complex procedures such as ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, fibroscan, and capsule endoscopy.
