A/Prof Alfred Kow Wei Chieh leads the Division of Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery at the National University Hospital, where he also serves as Senior Consultant in both the Adult Liver Transplantation Programme and the Division of Surgical Oncology. He focuses on treating liver, pancreas, and biliary cancers, and performs both surgical and non-surgical procedures. He actively carries out liver transplants for patients with liver failure or cancer, using both deceased and living donors. With a strong interest in minimally invasive techniques, he regularly performs laparoscopic liver, pancreas, and biliary surgeries.
