Dr Yong Ren
Dr Yong Ren is orthopaedic surgeon in Singapore, specializing in complex peri-articular limb fractures, pelvic and acetabular trauma, and adult reconstructive and spinal surgery. Formerly the Head of Orthopaedic Trauma at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) and lead for the Geriatric Hip Fracture Unit, Dr Yong brings extensive clinical leadership to his practice. He holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from the National University of Singapore and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
His expertise was further refined through a Health Manpower Development Plan fellowship at Inselspital, Switzerland, focusing on pelvic trauma and spinal surgery. An active contributor to the medical community, he serves on the board of AO Trauma Singapore and holds memberships with the Singapore Orthopaedic Association and the Singapore Medical Association. A respected educator, Dr Yong frequently presents at prestigious international forums, including the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association and Duke-SGH scientific meetings.
