Dr Tang Hak Chiaw is a cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore, with a focus on echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and the treatment of cardiomyopathies. He has over 20 years of medical experience and previously served at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS). Dr Tang completed his cardiology training at NHCS and advanced his expertise in cardiomyopathy and cardiac MRI at The Heart Hospital, University College London Hospitals, UK. Upon returning, he established a dedicated cardiomyopathy clinic at NHCS, which now serves as a national referral centre. He also led Singapore’s first cardiomyopathy conference in 2021 and currently sits on the Singapore Armed Forces’ cardiology specialist advisory board.
