Dr Joshua Loh Ping Yun specialises in interventional cardiology and treats complex coronary artery diseases. He routinely performs procedures involving coronary physiology, imaging, and the treatment of calcified vessels using atherectomy and lithotripsy. He also applies advanced techniques such as drug-coated balloons, bioresorbable scaffolds, and drug-eluting stents. Dr Loh previously served as a senior consultant, assistant professor, and patient safety officer at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore, where he helped launch the heart attack, cardiac intensive care, and pulmonary thrombectomy services. He has performed over 5,000 complex angioplasty procedures and was one of the first in Singapore to adopt distal transradial access for coronary interventions.
