Dr Tan Svenszeat is a cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital and Parkway East Hospital, Singapore, specialising in interventional cardiology. He treats patients with occluded coronary arteries, including those requiring emergency ballooning and stenting during heart attacks. During his fellowship at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, he managed complex coronary artery disease and chronic total occlusions. He also contributed as part of the heart team performing transcatheter aortic valve replacements for patients unsuitable for surgery.
