Dr Tan Chong Hiok graduated from Leicester University in 1989 and completed his cardiology training in 1999. He enhanced his expertise in echocardiology during a sabbatical in Sydney, where he published several papers and became an accredited Echocardiologist. After further training in interventional cardiology in Seoul, he pioneered radial artery interventions at Changi General Hospital. Dr Tan has extensive experience in complex angioplasty cases, including left main artery stenting and chronic total occlusions, earning recognition at international events like the CTO Club. As the only cardiologist in Singapore accredited in both Echocardiology and Interventional Cardiology, he continues to teach, research, and contribute to leading international cardiology conferences.
