Dr Shanker Vinayagamoorthy practises as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at a leading heart centre in Kuala Lumpur. He earned his MB BCh from Ireland and completed specialist training in interventional cardiology both in Ireland and Malaysia. Dr Shanker holds fellowships with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and the National Heart Association of Malaysia, and he has been registered on Malaysia’s National Specialist Register since 2000. He specialises in procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and advanced coronary interventions, applying evidence-based treatment and patient-focused care every day.
