Dr Samuel Ong Boon Leng brings over four decades of experience in interventional and non‑invasive cardiology. He earned his MBBS from the University of Malaya before completing MRCP (UK) in 1981 and FRCP (London) later. He trained in cardiology at St. George’s Hospital, London (1981–1983), and later led the Cardiology Unit at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia as Associate Professor. Since 1992, he has practiced as a Consultant Cardiologist at Subang Jaya Medical Centre and Sunway Hospital, performing coronary angiograms, angioplasty, ECG, stress tests, and echocardiography. Dr Ong specializes in hypertension, coronary artery disease, and valvular heart conditions, and he frequently contributes to regional cardiology forums and educational events.
