Dr Lu is a specialist in Gastroenterology with a subspecialty interest in liver disorders and endoscopic ultrasound. She has served full-time in the public sector for 16 years. After obtaining her basic medical degree (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore in 2006 she underwent internal medicine and gastroenterology training in National University Hospital. She attained Membership of the Royal College of Physician (MRCP UK) in 2010 Master of Medicine (MMed) in 2011 and gastroenterology specialist accreditation in 2013 respectively. Subsequently she pursued further trainings in liver disorders and endoscopic ultrasound overseas under the 2016 Healthcare Manpower Development Programme awarded by Ministry of Health.
