Dr Lim Chin Tat
Dr Lim Chin Tat is Orthopaedic Surgeon in Singapore, specializing in complex joint replacement, robotic-assisted surgery, and sports orthopaedics. A graduate of the National University of Singapore (2004), Dr Lim holds a Master of Medicine and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He completed prestigious dual clinical fellowships in adult reconstruction and sports surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre (Oxford University Hospitals) and Stanford University. Notably, he is among the few Singaporean surgeons recognized as an International Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr Lim serves as an Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, where his dedication to medical education earned him the Residents’ Choice Award. An accomplished researcher with over 30 peer-reviewed publications, he focuses on biomechanical analysis and designing joint implants tailored for Asian populations. His excellence in translational research was recognized with the P Balasubramaniam Young Orthopaedic Investigator’s Award.
