Dr Hendrick Chia Miah Yang is an Interventional Cardiologist and Lecturer in Medicine at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He earned his MBBS from King’s College London (1987), attained MRCP (Ireland) in 1993, and became a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology in 2006 and Academy of Medicine Malaysia in 1999. With over 30 years of experience, he has performed more than 5,000 cardiac catheterizations and angioplasty procedures, earning recognition early in his career for winning the “Young Investigator” award. He specializes in managing coronary artery disease, angina, atherosclerosis, peripheral arterial disease, and conducts diagnostic stress tests and angiograms.
