Dr. Chong Wei Peng earned his medical degree from the University of Malaya in 1995 and began serving in hospitals across Muar, Johor Bahru, Sibu, and Sarawak. He returned to the University of Malaya three years later to pursue postgraduate studies in internal medicine. In 2000, he obtained membership from the Royal Colleges of Physicians (UK) and started advanced training in cardiology, echocardiography, and interventional procedures. The University Malaya Medical Centre appointed him as a clinical specialist, and by 2003, he became a lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine. Today, he serves as a Consultant Cardiologist at Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur and Pantai Hospital Ampang, where he provides personalized, evidence-based care to patients from across Malaysia.
