Dr. Chong Siong Eng Roland brings extensive experience in gastroenterology and a solid background in general medicine. He has served as a Visiting Consultant in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Singapore General Hospital since the 1990s. He led the Gastroenterological Society of Singapore as President and chaired both the Chapter and College of Physicians. As a medical assessor, he supports the Supreme Court and previously contributed to the Subordinate Courts’ Mediation Service. He actively shaped national healthcare by chairing guideline committees and advising the Ministry of Health on gastroenterology and clinical practice standards.
