Dr. Chia Chung King is a gastroenterologist with a strong subspecialty focus on liver diseases and extensive clinical experience. He trained at the prestigious Liver Unit at King’s College Hospital in London under the HMDP scholarship. Dr. Chia has led and contributed to gastric cancer research and trained countless young doctors in endoscopy and internal medicine. He held senior educational and leadership roles at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and earned multiple teaching and service awards, including the Courage Star for his dedication during the SARS outbreak. He actively serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at both NUS and NTU medical schools.
