Dr Chew Tec Hock Jeffrey
Dr Jeffrey Chew is orthopaedic surgeon in Singapore, specializing in adult reconstructive surgery, sports injuries, and robotic-assisted joint replacements. An alumnus of the National University of Singapore (MBBS 1989, M.Med 1994) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow and Edinburgh), he advanced his expertise through prestigious HMDP fellowships and biomechanical research at the Mayo Clinic, USA.
As a former consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Dr Chew’s significant contributions to the field include co-designing the Asian-centric Sigma knee prosthesis with Johnson & Johnson Medical and receiving the Russell Hibbs Award for his research on cartilage transplantation.
