Dato’ Dr. Nik Halmey Bin Nik Zainal Abidin is an experienced cardiologist with a strong background in clinical practice, research, and academic leadership. He graduated from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1995 and served as a Clinical Registrar in Cardiology at James Cook University Hospital in the UK from 2000 to 2003. He then held the role of Senior Lecturer in Cardiology at University Malaya Medical Centre from 2004 to 2008. A respected figure in the field, he served as a Council Member of the National Heart Association of Malaysia (NHAM) from 2016 to 2020 and contributed to its Annual Scientific Meeting committee from 2013 to 2020.
