When Should You See A Urologist?
It is advisable to consult a urologist if you experience any signs or symptoms that may indicate a condition affecting the urinary tract or male reproductive system. These can include persistent difficulty or pain during urination, blood in the urine (haematuria), lower back or flank pain, urinary incontinence, or an urgent and frequent need to urinate, particularly at night. Men experiencing erectile dysfunction, testicular pain, or concerns related to prostate health should also seek a timely evaluation. In many instances, even when initial symptoms appear mild, early diagnosis and intervention are critical to preventing more serious medical complications. Furthermore, if you require a second opinion regarding a diagnosed condition or are contemplating the merits of surgical versus non-surgical and minimally invasive treatment approaches, a consultation with a specialist urologist is an excellent starting point.
