Dr Chong Choon Seng – Colorectal Surgeon In Singapore

Dr Chong Choon Seng is a General and Colorectal Surgeon in Singapore with over 20 years of clinical experience. He is the Senior Consultant and Medical Director at Ark Surgical Practice. His clinical focus is on minimally invasive techniques, including robotic and transanal platforms, for the management of conditions ranging from benign diseases such as piles to colorectal cancer.

Dr Chong graduated from the National University of Singapore (MBBS, 2004) and obtained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2013. He subsequently completed a fellowship in cancer surgery at the Samsung Medical Center in South Korea.

He has been actively involved in training, serving as an instructor in regional centres for courses in endoscopic stenting and resection, transanal total mesorectal excision (taTME) for rectal cancers, and laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer. Dr Chong has also contributed to academic medicine, publishing over 100 papers during his tenure as an Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore.
