Dr. Terence Lim is a Senior Consultant Urologist and the Medical Director at Assure Urology & Robotic Centre, specializing in Uro-Oncology and minimally invasive urological surgery. Prior to entering private practice, he spent nearly two decades in public healthcare, serving as Senior Consultant and Chief of the Department of Urology at Changi General Hospital (CGH), as well as Director of CGH’s Advanced Surgical Centre. A pioneer in robotic surgery in Singapore, Dr. Lim has completed over 700 robotic surgical procedures and was the first surgeon in Singapore to perform a Robot-assisted Retzius-sparing Prostatectomy.

• Robotic & Minimally Invasive Surgery: Operating across all three generations of the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System; expertise in robot-assisted Retzius-sparing prostatectomy, partial/radical nephrectomy, and radical cystectomy.
• Uro-Oncology Procedures: Radical and partial nephrectomy, radical cystectomy with urinary diversion, radical prostatectomy, radical orchidectomy, and partial/total penectomy.
• Urolithiasis & Endourology: Retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS), percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), flexible and rigid ureteroscopy, and extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL).
• Prostate & Endoscopic Surgery: Ultrasound-MRI fusion biopsy, transrectal/transperineal prostate biopsy, transurethral resection/incision of the prostate (TURP/TUIP), and simple prostatectomy.
