Dr Tan Teck Wei performs robotic and minimally invasive surgery for urological cancers, including bladder, prostate, kidney, testis, and penile cancers. He serves on the executive committee of the Singapore Urological Association and sits on the board of the Chapter of Urologists in the College of Surgeons, Singapore. Dr Tan previously led the Genitourinary Oncology service at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he introduced advanced techniques such as MRI-targeted prostate biopsy, transperineal prostate biopsy under local anaesthesia, and Retzius-sparing robot-assisted radical prostatectomy. He actively mentors prostate cancer patients, leads national awareness campaigns, and collaborates with surgical teams on complex cancer cases.
