Dr Kushil Kaur is a consultant psychiatrist at The Mind Faculty, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with over 15 years of experience in the field. She holds an MBBS from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education and a Master of Psychological Medicine from the University of Malaya. Earlier in her career, she gained extensive clinical experience at Selayang Hospital and as a Psychiatry Registrar at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, one of Asia’s largest hospitals, having also worked within the Psychiatric Department at Hospital Sungai Buloh. Working in one of the busiest tertiary centres in the Klang Valley has given her broad exposure to a wide range of mental health conditions. She holds a particular interest in child and adolescent psychiatry, and takes a collaborative approach to treatment, working closely with psychologists, occupational therapists, and families to support young patients through healing and growth.
