Dr Barrie Tan Yau Boon is a President’s Scholar and one of Singapore’s leading ENT surgeons, with expertise in Otology, Hearing Implants, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery. In 1994, he earned the prestigious President’s Scholarship and studied Medicine at the National University of Singapore, where he graduated top of his class and won the Gibb’s Gold Medal for General Proficiency. He completed his ENT specialist training in Singapore and secured the Ministry of Health’s Health Manpower Development Plan Award to pursue a year-long fellowship at the Ear Science Institute Australia from 2010 to 2011.
