Dr Azlina Firzah
Dr Azlina Firzah is a resident consultant breast surgeon at the Breast Care Centre, Pantai Hospital, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She graduated with an MBBS from University Malaya in 1990, followed by a Master’s in Surgery from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2001, and completed further subspecialty training in breast and endocrine surgery at Kuala Lumpur Hospital and Putrajaya Hospital. After serving almost 18 years within Malaysia’s Ministry of Health, including a posting at Selayang Hospital, she moved into private practice at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur in July 2008. Her clinical work covers a broad range of breast conditions, including breast cancer surgery with reconstruction, mastitis, cysts, fibroadenomas, and thyroidectomy, alongside screening for high-risk patients. Beyond the clinic, Dr Azlina has given public talks and lectures on breast cancer awareness since 1999 and has co-chaired the Wear It Pink Breast Awareness Campaign for Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur since 2008.
