Dr Adrian Liew is a nephrologist at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore, with a special focus on diabetic kidney diseases, glomerular diseases, kidney transplantation, and peritoneal dialysis. He led the nephrology department at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and directed its Chronic Peritoneal Dialysis programme. Dr Liew also served as a senior consultant with Singapore’s Ministry of Health, where he chaired the National HALT-CKD programme to help prevent kidney failure at the primary care level. He teaches renal medicine at Nanyang Technological University’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and has earned fellowships from several leading academic institutions.
