Dr Jane Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1997 and earned her postgraduate surgical qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She pursued a fellowship in Colorectal Surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital under the Ministry of Health’s HMDP scholarship. With expertise in minimally invasive colorectal surgeries, Dr Tan treats colorectal cancers, benign diseases, and complex perianal and functional bowel disorders. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, and actively contributes to research and teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
