Dr Kelvin Tan Guoping is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Singapore Sports and Orthopaedic Clinic who specialises in hip and knee replacements, complex joint reconstructions, and robotic-assisted surgeries. He trained internationally under Professor Ross Crawford in Brisbane and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015. Dr Tan previously led the Adult Reconstruction Unit at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he championed Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) and transformed knee replacement into a same-day procedure. He has performed over 500 Mako robotic-assisted joint replacements and also trains surgeons regionally in robotic surgery.
