Dr Kannappan A/L Palaniappan is a Senior Consultant in Fertility, Gynaecology, and Obstetrics, currently serving as the Clinical Director of Sunway Fertility Centre. With over two decades of clinical experience, he is known for his excellence in fertility care, male infertility, and minimally invasive surgery. Recognised by the Ministry of Health Malaysia as a Reproductive Medicine Specialist since 2008, Dr Kannappan has helped thousands of couples on their parenthood journey.

He obtained his BMedSc, MD, and MOG from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and completed his Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine in Singapore. He has also trained at prestigious institutions including Cleveland Clinic Ohio, KKH Singapore (IVF), and the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Jockey Club Minimally Invasive Surgical Skills Centre. In 2020, he and his team won the International Fertility Clinic of the Year award from the International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ).
