Dr. Gerard Leong is a cardiologist who sub-specializes in echocardiography, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, cardio-oncology, and resistant hypertension. He also focuses on ischemic heart disease, with a strong interest in optimizing treatment decisions around stenting, bypass surgery, and stroke and dementia prevention. From 2017 to 2020, he served as Medical Director at Thomson Cardiology Centre before founding his own practice. Prior to that, he led the Heart Failure Program at Changi General Hospital, where he worked as a Senior Consultant from 2012 to 2017.
