Dr Ernest Ng Wee Oon serves as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur. He graduated from Leicester Medical School and later trained in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at Glenfield Hospital in the UK. After returning to Malaysia, he helped establish the Ministry of Health’s first electrophysiology service at Serdang Hospital before moving to private practice. His expertise spans complex coronary interventions, arrhythmia treatment, and advanced device therapy such as pacemakers and defibrillators. He actively contributes to clinical research and medical education, shaping national standards in cardiology care.
