Dr Cathryn Chan Weng Buen is a specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) with a strong focus on reproductive medicine and infertility.

Dr Cathryn Chan Weng Buen graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Subsequently, she obtained her Membership at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London in 1991.

Dr Chan has also undergone three years of Advanced Subspecialty Training where she was trained in endoscopic surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy). She is also an accredited colposcopist and regularly attends courses to continuously improve her clinical skills in the area of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Dr Chan has a clinical interest in reproductive medicine and infertility and the subspecialty includes managing patients with ovulatory problems, PCOS, tubal blockage, endometriosis, and male infertility on top of other conditions such as uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and menstrual disorders.

Over the years of her service in private practice, Dr Chan has provided medical services to local, expatriate and foreign patients as well as local and international insurance companies. Dr Chan is fluent in many different languages such as English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Malay and Bahasa Indonesia which allows her to communicate with her patients in the language that they are most comfortable with.
