Dr Winston Woon Wei Liang specializes in general surgery and endoscopy, with a strong focus on laparoscopic and robotic procedures for hernia, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, and bile duct conditions. He developed the HPB surgical service at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and led the adoption of laparoscopic surgery techniques. From 2010 to 2018, he headed the HPB unit at TTSH and helped the hospital gain accreditation as a training center for the Australian & New Zealand HPB Association. He trained in Australia and completed subspecialty fellowships in laparoscopic upper GI, liver, and pancreatic surgery.
