Dr Sangeetha Poovaneswaran is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist and Radiotherapist with expertise in internal medicine and clinical oncology. She earned her MBChB from the University of Aberdeen and completed the MRCP (UK) and FRCR (UK) in Clinical Oncology. She also holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Clinical Oncology from the UK and is a member of the Academy of Medicine Malaysia (AMM).

Previously, Dr Sangeetha served as a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Oncologist at the International Medical University and held clinical roles at NHS Trust hospitals in the United Kingdom. She currently practises at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital and KPJ Klang Specialist Hospital, delivering comprehensive cancer care focused on personalised treatment.

With extensive experience, she manages a wide range of cancers including breast, gastrointestinal, head and neck, and haematological malignancies. Her clinical interests include modern radiotherapy techniques, systemic therapies, and supportive care to optimise patient outcomes.
