Dr Kelvin Thia is a gastroenterologist who graduated from the National University of Singapore and trained at the Mayo Clinic as an advanced fellow in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). He has published extensively in high-impact medical journals and won the Centocor IBD Best Abstract Award in 2008. At Singapore General Hospital, he served as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and contributed to the IBD Centre and Nutrition Support Services. He actively mentors students and doctors, reviews for leading journals, and educates the public through talks and media contributions.
