Dr Chong is a well-recognised expert in minimally invasive surgery. He stays committed to excellent surgical outcomes for all surgical conditions, ranging from piles to cancer treatment. He is trained in various skillsets, including robotic and trans-anal platforms.
Dr Chong Choon Seng graduated from the National University of Singapore (MBBS) in 2004 and obtained his Fellowship diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2013, and continued his fellowship in one of the most prestigious cancer centres in South Korea, Samsung Medical Centre.
Dr Chong is an established instructor in many regional centres for cancer treatment. Courses include endoscopic stenting and resection for cancers, transanal total mesorectal excision (taTME) for rectal cancers and laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer. He is also an academic surgeon and has over 100 publications while he served at NUS as an Associate Professor.
